Leeds Catering Service was established in 1968 with the opening of 'The Sandwich Centre' in City Square, Leeds. The outside catering business started the day a local company asked us to put together a platter of sandwiches and cakes for an important client. Since that day we have been providing Leeds companies with a range of lunches.

We now have main kitchens on the edge of the city centre and operate brod sandwich bars in Leeds centre and Headingley.

All of our premises have been awarded 4 out of 5 stars (very good) by the Leeds City Council 'Scores on the Doors' scheme. We have a full Health and Safety Policy created and audited by Acton Jennings.

Wayne and Robert have decided that it is time to take up cricket after performing well at Kirkstall Cricket Club. Luckily for Kirkstall it did not involve them handling a bat or ball, just the odd hot pan! They gave up their usual weekend trip to the football to prepare and serve a hot sit down meal at the famous Leeds cricket club. Wayne supports Lincoln and Robert is a season ticket holder at Bradford, so neither of them missed much.
We are currently working on some new menus, which we will be testing out on our regular customers soon. More and more we are preparing fresh savouries using local suppliers, which keeps it more interesting for us and hopefully for you.
The summer is on its way so we are all waiting, with great anticipation, for the arrival of Wayne’s chocolate chilli. It’s being nurtured through the cold nights and soon it will be finding its way onto our buffets, so if you spot some garnish you can’t recognise it will be a Chocolate Chilli from Wayne’s own garden. You can’t get more local than that!
